UNILAG Faculty of Engineering opens Auto Diagnostic and Prognostic Centre
By Emmanuel Awosika
The Faculty of Engineering, University of Lagos, has announced the opening of its Auto Diagnostic and Prognostic Centre, as part of efforts to bolster the Faculty’s internally generated revenue.
Unlike traditional repair shops, the Centre is a drive-in garage that uses advanced sensors to diagnose vehicles for faults. It also has trained technicians available to proffer solutions for common vehicle problems and fix minor issues where necessary.
The Auto Diagnostic and Prognostic Centre is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and is primed to offer quality vehicle diagnostic and repair services for members of the University of Lagos and the general public.
Other services available at the Centre include: auto diagnostics, servicing (oil and filter change), vehicle assessment/inspection, prognosis (failure prediction), fuel system service, brake system service, transmission flush and service, and preventive maintenance.
The Auto Diagnostic and Prognostic Centre is situated behind the Central Workshop, along Oduduwa Way, University of Lagos, Akoka-Yaba.
